The Nido and Young Children’s Community (or YCC,) offers children ages birth through 2 ½ an environment where they can move freely and interact with materials that appeal to very young children. Materials are child sized and designed so that children can interact with them. Teachers are trained to observe and respect each child’s development. The day is composed of group time and individual exploration. Infants are fed and nurtured with guidance from their parents. Toddlers are shown many activities and learn to become part of a small group when they interact and sing and share meals together.

Children can attend 3-5 days per week. Our class times are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Several options are offered for a child’s length of their day.
